    -For individual customers: Available to HK resident RMB Savings Account holders aged 18 or above 
    -For corporate customers: Available to RMB Savings Account holders
  • Individual customers can issue personal RMB cheques to pay for consumer spending within Guangdong Province (including Shenzhen) in Mainland up to a daily accumulative payment limit of RMB80,000, while corporate customers can use this cheque service in Hong Kong only
  • Issue RMB cheques for payment and transfer with no amount limit in Hong Kong
  • Minimum initial deposit amount as low as RMB2,000

Risk Disclosure:

  1. The value of RMB deposit will be subject to the risk of exchange rate fluctuation. Customer may suffer loss in principal due to the exchange rate fluctuation if he/she chooses to convert RMB deposit to Hong Kong Dollar or other currencies.
  2. RMB is currently not freely convertible currency. Conversion of RMB for customer is subject to the requirements specified by relevant authorities from time to time and/or the arrangement of Public Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Bank”).

Remarks: 

  1. Eligibility requirements and scope of RMB General Corporate Customer Service are subject to the relevant laws, rules, regulations, directions and guidelines governing or otherwise applicable to RMB Corporate Statement Savings Account.
  2. The Bank has the right to take all actions necessary to comply with the Bank’s agreement with the clearing bank. The Bank also has the right to provide any transactions and account information of account holder to the relevant authorities as required by the Bank’s agreement with the clearing bank.
  3. All the information set out above is provided to the best of the Bank’s knowledge and understanding of the Relevant Rules. Account Holder should also comply with any updates that shall be published or issued by the Bank at any time and from time to time and any latest guidelines issued by the regulatory authorities.
